Review: Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch

Today I'm gonna start with a short review of the highly rated and raved Acne Pimple Master Patch by Cosrx.
They're advertised as Hydrocolloid Dressings that you're supposed to paste on your pimple. So what it actually claims to do is that it acts as a protective cover for the pimple, presumably to prevent bacteria from getting to it. I think that's pretty helpful especially for me as I always find myself touching my pimples (to see if they've magically disappeared in the last ten seconds) , which probably prevents it from healing. Another cool thing these patches do is that they actually absorbs all the oil and impurities from the pimple itself. So when you remove the patches you will actually see a white substance on the patch, which I assume is all the pus inside. Pretty gross, but yeah, pretty cool as well.

I usually leave these patches on for a good 5-6 hours so I find putting it on at night after cleansing my face most suitable for me.  Now I do find these patches pretty helpful especially since they usually make my pimples less inflamed and bumpy after removing it.

HOWEVER. One thing I didn't quite like about it is that it actually doesn't suck out much pus or work that well unless you pop your pimple before putting the patch on. For me, if I dont pop the pimple beforehand, the patches don't really work. So this isn't a miracle product, obviously, but it is still pretty helpful to reduce redness and shrink your pimples.

Oh and also, these patches come in 3 different sizes, though they're all round. For me, I find the smallest (7mm) and medium (10 mm) sufficient. The 12 mm ones I find a little too big for me so I found myself running out of the 7 and 10 mm ones sooner than the 12 mm ones. But that could just be me.

Rating: 8/10
Value for Money: 10/10 - got these on shopee for ~$3 so it was a pretty good deal if I would say.
